STEVEN PARSONS

Steven has been coaching in North Texas for the past 9 years. He coached with Sting Soccer Club the past 6 working with 05 LHGCL and JDL, 07 LHGCL, and 99/00 TCL. In the winter he coaches the girls middle school “A” team at ESD in Dallas. He currently holds a USSF National “D” License, is a member of NSCAA, and The Positive Coaching Alliance. Steven won the 2018 North Texas Soccer Girls Competitive Coach of the Year.
Steven is in the business of player development no matter the age. Players are always developing. It is important that he continues to push cognitive development in understanding the game and being able to apply the techniques needed to solve the problems the game presents. He believes in a very positive approach to teaching the game and pushes each girl to be their best; on and off the field. He not only wants to develop great young players but also great young girls.
Steven decided to join Renegades SC in hopes of being able to coach in an environment that puts playing the game of soccer and the enjoyment that brings first and foremost. To be where we can build team unity and a team/family experience.
Off the field Steven is married with 2 kids. One an 18 year-old daughter who is headed off to college and another a 14 year-old son who will be starting high school. When not coaching he loves traveling and playing a bit of golf.
