KIRSTEN YANCEY

I am a passionate, driven, and dedicated coach that strives to empower and serve others. I want every student-athlete I come into contact with to achieve greatness and know that I value who they are and who they want to become. In order for athletes to achieve their true potential, it’s important to model behavior and expectations. Accountability holds the structure for trust and the creation of unity. My passions include development of fundamentals, soccer IQ and character development. Growing up in West Texas, I would travel to the metroplex three times a week for practice/games. This endeavor eventually granted me the opportunity to play soccer at ECU on a full ride scholarship. Graduating with a degree in molecular biology, I then went on to medical school. On this journey I realized my true calling was to help others appreciate and grow within the beautiful game of soccer. I began at Prosper High then moved to my current position with Pearce High. My family and I reside in Richardson and cannot wait to continue to serve our community through Renegades.
